Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Adobe has produced a version of Photoshop specifically for working with photos and, more recently, video. Like Photoshop Elements, this version is a free download. However, it has a fixed set of tools for photo and video editing that you can apply to a collection. This preset toolbox, designed to work with older or smaller-screened devices and used by professionals on the go, provides little editing capability.

Adobe Photoshop Express is basically Photoshop, but for phones. By downloading it from the app store, users can edit images right on their mobile phones. Photoshop Express allows you to work with both standard and RAW files and a variety of image formats.

How to use Photoshop Elements
Getting started
First of all, before you start to work with Photoshop Elements, it’s helpful to understand how to use it.
When you first open the program, you’ll see that it’s completely different from a regular Photoshop version. Photoshop Elements is a multi-tabbed program. It has a View menu on the top with a few options: Open, Close, New and Duplicate.
The toolbar on the left has the same options: Edit, Edit Settings, Help, and About.

Where to find a file:
You can locate a file either in your computer’s main hard drive or a connected external drive. You can also drag-and-drop a file from your computer to the computer holding the image file.

You will find your images in your photo library (which can also be called media library). Depending on the photo library you use, you’ll find the files in different places: directly in the photo library, in your computer’s main hard drive, in a connected external drive, or even in a cloud.
How to edit a photo:
To open a photo, you can either select it from a list of open files or open it by dragging-and-dropping it onto the photo you want to edit.
To open your photo library, go to the view menu, select your image library, and then select the Open Image Library.
Go to your photo library and find your image by clicking on its name and moving it to the photo editor.
You can open it and use the tools on the toolbar to adjust its size, color, brightness, contrast, and so on.
You can crop it with the Crop tool. To open it, click on it from the toolbar, or place it where you want it to crop the image.
