Lenovo’s Linux-based IdeaCentre Q60, C60 and A60 notebooks unveiled
Lenovo has unveiled four new IdeaCentre Q60, C60 and A60 laptops running Linux, allowing customers to set up a local server and install their own apps, out of the box.
All four IdeaCentre laptops feature an Intel Core i7 CPU and a fast DDR3 memory module, with the specification of the C60 and A60 differing only in their screen resolution: 1280×720 for the C60, and 1920×1080 for the A60. All four IdeaCentre notebooks sport a 17.3in display that is compatible with 10-point multi-touch technology, along with an HD webcam.
The C60 and A60 come equipped with a 320GB hard drive, while the Q60 is available with a 500GB drive or 1TB option. All IdeaCentre laptops come preloaded with the three preinstalled music video apps: VLC, RealPlayer and WinDVD.
As well as the IdeaCentre models, Lenovo also revealed new IdeaCentre-branded desktop PCs, which will be available in North America and Europe this summer. Featuring a range of hardware, including Core i7, Core i5 and Core i3 processors, the desktop models also come loaded with preinstalled software.
Commenting on the launch of the new IdeaCentre laptops, Nick Rogers, vice president and general manager, Lenovo PCs, said: “We are excited to bring three new devices to the IdeaCentre family. The models unveiled today are ideal for power-users who want to have the choice of a fully-featured, high-performance notebook or desktop. Some may say this game looks like it’s a cartoon, but the interesting thing about the series is the games are just as much a visual feast as any of the classic games like FF8. This is a pretty slick game in terms of graphics. It looks to be the highest quality VN on Android.
AUDIO: 8/10
None of the audio is that bad. Lots of different voices with lots of different accents. The English audio is pretty good. You can listen to it in English or Japanese and both are pretty good. This game has a good amount of sound effects. I wouldn’t say it has the best quality sound, but what I don’t like is that when there’s a very strong background noise the voices are very distorted. I guess it’s the 3D effect. I would prefer a more simple background sound and less of the voice distortion. There’s more than enough sound.
GAMEPLAY: 8/10
The gameplay in this game is very good. If the dialogue was a little more light-hearted this would have been a 10, but the characters are pretty dark, and at times downright dark. It really helps to balance the tone of the game. The game begins with a bad vibe, and there’s enough action to keep you engaged. The gameplay is made for touch controls, so the ones who are used to using a controller or arcade stick might have a little trouble. I have no issue with the controls. It’s comfortable for me to control the characters with touch controls. The game has a good set of voice commands that you can use during battle.
OVERALL: 9/10
This game is worth your time and money. I understand that some people aren’t into the mature theme and can’t stand to play it, but for the right person it’s

Q: The story and gameplay are inspired by the popular fantasy novel, Sword Life. What are the main differences between the scenario of the game and that of the novel?
A: The story of Sword Life is a single story told in 40 chapters, while the story of TARNISHED will be told in three stories, three generations, and is set in a world of its own.
The gameplay of the novel is linear, with its quest and character development confined to one single path. While the main themes of the novel are fully implemented in the game, we aimed to change the structure of quest design.
The game will be completely free of linearity. Through a variety of quests, you can progress freely to explore the world map, create your own paths, or venture into the dungeon.
